What Happens Next: Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.

2. Counter-Notice (If You Believe Your Content Was Removed by Mistake)

If you believe that your content was removed (or access was disabled) as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter-notice pursuant to the DMCA.

Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your Physical or Electronic Signature.

  2. Identification of the Removed Content: Describe the material that was removed and tell us where it was located on our site before it was taken down.

  3. A Statement Under Penalty of Perjury: That you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  4. Your Contact Information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and a valid email address.

  5. Consent to Jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside the United States, that you consent to jurisdiction in Qatar), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original takedown notice.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If they do not notify us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action to restrain the activity, we may replace or restore the removed content.

3. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, doha-news.com has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also at our sole discretion limit access to the website and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others.
