‘Mango Mania’ will be occurring at all Lulu Hypermarkets throughout Qatar for one week. This is part of Lulu Hypermarket Group’s promotion calender. The festival, which began yesterday, was inaugurated by Indian Ambassador Sanjiv Arora at the Lulu Hypermarket in Al Gharaffa while in the presence of dignitaries and senior executives from the retail industry. The aim of the festival is to promote the agricultural produce of India and make it popular among the local community and in the Middle East.
Mango Festival begins at Lulu outlets
Doha: Lulu Hypermarket Group, as part of its promotion calendar, once again set the stage for Mango Festival under the title ‘Mango Mania’ yesterday for one week.
The festival was inaugurated by Indian Ambassador Sanjiv Arora at Lulu Hypermarket in Al Gharaffa in the presence of dignitaries and senior executives from the retail industry.
The idea behind the festival is to promote the agricultural produce of India and make it popular among the local community and in the Middle East at large.
This year the festival is showcasing over 120 variety of mangoes from India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Vietnam, Kenya, Brazil, Ivory Coast, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Thailand, Malaysia, Uganda, Ghana, the Philippines, Yemen, Ecuador and Africa.
It also features mango-based products.
Fresh stocks of mangoes from 18 countries have been imported for the festival.
Lulu outlets have made it convenient for the connoisseurs of the exotic fruit to taste the versatility and buy the best variety that suits their palate.
Leading varieties of mangoes are on sale at all Lulu Hypermarket outlets at highly modest prices.
The Middle East is one of the biggest markets for the mangoes.
The festival continues for one week at all Lulu Hypermarket outlets in Qatar.
